Two small strips are presently known from this volume but they are enough to tell us that this would have been an attractive and small illuminated devotional book.
Each fragments has remains of an illuminated initial in blue and gold, as well as red and blue decorative line-filler; on fragment i, there is also two-line lombard, cropped, with red penwork.

The date of its use in a binding -- between 1607 and 1631 -- suggests a notably late date for its being available for cutting up and re-use.
