Complete folio, folded over itself
In the visible section, six staves of four-lines each (a full stave 14mm high) with the lines ruled in red. Some red letters, the height of a tall letter, to open passages.
As the edges of the leaf are folded in order to help stitch in place the padding, the full width of the leaf is not clear in the dimensions. The turn-ins add 20mm to inner and 25mm to outer margins.
The padding is for the most part discarded school writing exercises, two lines of French text repeated over ten times to fill the page.
