The contents of the one bifolium that survives from this manuscript speaks strongly of its monastic associations. Its small size suggests that this may have been portable, and so for the use of a monk when travelling.

Information on dismantling

This was available to be reused in the binding of the accounts for 1560-77 of the church of St Saviour in the southwest of Guernsey. During twentieth-century repairs, it was removed and so its function in the binding is not certain but, turned on its side, it would have been the height of the volume. GF 18 may suggest the binding was made of boards so this may of been pasted.
