Babel MS 8

An early fifteenth-century copy of Duns Scotus - textually, rather corrupt - which was dispensed with in the mid-1520s, perhaps a century after its production. Two fragments are known from consecutive leaves (Harsnett I.d.3 i following Harsnett I.d.3 ii).

Information on dismantling

The manuscript was presumably dismantled at the binders in England (London?), when the printed volume was bound very soon after its publication in 1525.
