St Peter Port: Greffe, Langlois A.2 Livre de Perchage (1595 and 1644) for Fief Thomas Blondel

The wrapper is combined with padding, made of several layers of paper, which have been stitched beneath the turn-ins of the wrapper (stitching in blue). The paper is itself discarded material, for the most part discarded school writing exercises, two lines of French text repeated over ten times to fill the page (cf St Peter Port: Greffe, Langlois A.2 Livre de Perchage (1584) for Fief le Comte au Castel).
